Dale and Joanna Crouch are proud to serve as the new East Coast Demo Representatives for Xcel Shooting Sports, bringing more than a decade of combined experience across trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Based in North East, Maryland, they travel year-round to major shoots from New Jersey to Florida, offering on-site coaching, gun fitting, and a mobile storefront featuring new firearms and shooting essentials.

Dale brings over 40 years of experience as a master automotive technician, a background that naturally evolved into a passion for the mechanics behind shotguns. From the moment he picked up his first gun, he began breaking down, studying, and rebuilding different makes and models. Today, he’s known for his expertise in gun fitment, patterning, and load development, often found at the practice field or pattern board fine-tuning guns and shells in pursuit of the perfect setup. Dale currently serves on the Board of Directors at Wilmington Trapshooting Association in Newark, Delaware.

Joanna’s passion for the sport shines just as brightly. While she may prefer crafting shotgun-shell jewelry over reloading, her competitive record speaks for itself: she is a 3-time Maryland State Lady I Champion and has proudly represented Maryland at The Grand American in Sparta, Illinois. Early in her shooting journey, Joanna recognized the critical importance of a consistent gun mount—an insight that inspired the creation of their training aid, “Stock Steady.” Helping women and youth shooters develop proper mount, confidence, and strong fundamentals has become one of her greatest passions.

Together, Dale and Joanna completed the NRA Shotgun Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer certifications in 2025. As Certified Shotgun Instructors and Chief RSOs, they are committed to helping Xcel customers with everything from coaching and gun fit, to gun selection and sales, to hands-on demonstrations at shoots and clubs throughout the East Coast.
