Lens Technology
Lens Attribute Overview
Each lens filtration has a light-transmission number and an attribute code that reflects the lens family and performance purpose. Use the overview below to understand what each technology is designed to do.
Lens Attributes
Chromashift (C)
Chromashift technology manipulates the visual representation of color to intensify target registration and separation from background. Designed to enhance what matters most — the target — with a competitive advantage in color “shift” and clarity.
Enhanced Definition (ED)
Enhanced Definition lenses are engineered for a balanced color profile and crisp definition. Great when you want a vivid image without over-saturating the environment.
High Contrast (HC)
High Contrast lenses increase separation at edges and improve target pop by boosting highs/lows in color resolution. Ideal for shooters who want stronger contrast without losing depth perception.
Max Orange (MX)
Max Orange focuses filtration in the orange portion of the spectrum to maximize target registration. Built for faster acquisition when the goal is “find it now” — especially against green or mixed backgrounds.
Neutralizer (N)
Neutralizer lenses compress certain colors while keeping key details vivid. This family is often favored when negotiating target registration against dense green backgrounds.
Infra Red (I)
Infra Red technology delivers vibrant color enhancement and crisp sight pictures with modern pigments and coatings. Designed to maintain clarity across changing conditions from full sun to low light.
ICE Technology (ICE)
ICE multi-layer coating helps reduce fogging and makes lenses easier to clean by repelling oils and water. Built for real-world performance when conditions get humid, dusty, or high-sweat.
