Matt Webber joins Xcel Shooting Sports as a passionate shooter and technician dedicated to helping others improve their performance and comfort on the trap field. Introduced to the sport at just 12 years old by his grandfather, Matt has spent years developing both his shooting skills and his understanding of proper gun fit — something he now enjoys sharing with shooters of all experience levels. Watching someone transform their scores and confidence with a correctly fitted shotgun is what motivates him most.
Outside of shooting, Matt is rarely far from his workshop. He is a skilled blacksmith and welder with a strong mechanical background, giving him an intuitive understanding of how shotguns function and how to fine-tune them for individual shooters. Matt also loves restoring old pickups and has a special interest in classic American firearms, especially the Winchester Model 12.
With a blend of shooting experience, mechanical expertise, and genuine passion for helping others succeed, Matt is excited to support Xcel customers through coaching, gun fitment, and product knowledge at his Demo Center.
